On the front page of the Wall Street Journal of Feb. 17, writer Eugene Carlson speculated that since Bill Clinton’s election to the presidency and the subsequent elevation of the saxophone to the position of “first instrument,” the livin’ might get a lot easier for the nation’s sax players.
